Patch Design Contest

Dear Faculty and Students,

Unfortunately, you received an email today regarding the Delta Nursing Patch design contest that was to have been sent out on March 25th. Because it was not sent out at the correct time, I have revised the dates. Please see the corrected email below:

Greetings to all ADN, LVN and PT Students,

We are pleased to announce the opening of the contest for best Delta Nursing Patch design. We are looking for elements that can be used in the LVN, PT and ADN patches. The criteria are as follows:

1. Patch design competition is open to current ADN, LVN and PT students.

2. The patch is round with a diameter of 3 - 3.5 inches.

3. Blue must be incorporated/emphasized in the ADN patch; Gold in the LVN patch; and Green in the PT patch. Other colors may also be included in the design. Designs

4. Design elements may address representations of nursing, Delta College or a combination.

5. All designs must be submitted to the Nursing office by Friday, April 30, 2010 at 4 pm.

6. A committee of faculty members will judge the designs.

7. Winners will be announced on Friday, May 7, 2010.

8. Winner(s) will receive $100.00.

9. Designs are preferred in an electronic format, however hand-drawn designs will also be accepted.
